Berenice Soto is a partner and Head of the Real Estate practice at Cuesta Campos, with extensive experience advising domestic and multinational companies on the development and execution of real estate projects in Mexico. Her practice combines a strategic approach to both corporate and real estate law, enabling clients to structure complex investments with legal certainty and operational efficiency in highly dynamic sectors.

She has a strong track record in the acquisition, sale, merger, subdivision, condominiums regimens and real estate developments, establishment of easements, and urban development processes, as well as in negotiating and executing lease agreements, including built-to-suit and sale-lease-back structures and construction contracts for industrial facilities. She has led legal due diligence processes and the implementation of real estate projects for industries such as automotive, pharmaceutical, and electronics. She also advises on permits and filings before local and federal authorities, including foreign investment matters, tax incentives, and public services. Her experience is further complemented by her involvement in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings.

Berenice holds a law degree and has established herself as a strategic advisor to developers and leading companies in the manufacturing, automotive, and consumer sectors. She also holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Law and Business Development from Universidad Panamericana.
