Berenice Soto leads the area of Real Estate Law at Cuesta Campos. She joined the firm in 2002, focusing her practice in Corporate Law and industrial, real estate, business, residential and touristic projects.
Mrs. Soto has worked in the acquisition, sale, subdivision, constitution of easements and urbanization processes, as well as in the preparation and execution of leases, including "Built-to-Suit-Leases" and work contracts for the construction of industrial buildings.
She has performed legal audits (due diligence), design and implementation of real estate projects for the automotive, pharmaceutical and electronic industries. She has developed extensive experience advising developers and multinational companies in the presentation and follow-up of local and federal procedures related to real estate developments, concessions and public services, tax incentives, as well as governmental procedures pertinent to migratory permits and procedures related to foreign investment.
Berenice has participated in various transactions of acquisitions, mergers, splits, liquidations and restructurings.
In contractual matters, her experience includes daily business operations, including corporate obligations.
