The Hague Agreement concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs.

On June 06, 2020, the Hague Agreement of the International Registration of Industrial Designs entered into.

Industrial design constitutes an ornamental aspect of an article. An industrial design may consist on three-dimensional features, such as the shape of an article, or two-dimensional features, such as patterns, lines or colors.

The benefits of this Agreement are the possibilities of filing an industrial design on a single international application before the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The Hague System provides a practical solution for registering up to 100 designs in 91 countries, through the filing of one single international application.
