Our firm advised Andares in the creation of an online marketplace to sell products of the retail stores located in its premises. In this regard, Cuesta Campos is advising the client with the drafting of the service agreement with the third party (software provider) to implement such project. Our firm is also in charge of the license agreements that will be executed between our client and the retailers, which will allow the use of intellectual property rights within such website. The scope of services includes e-commerce considerations and data protection.

CC assists long-time client Nike with its legal needs and corporate requirements and obligations. This ongoing advice is relevant to keep Nike de Mexico in strict compliance with Mexican laws. Additionally, our firm provides legal assistance on labor matters, which includes the relationship with Labor Unions, execution of Collective Bargaining Agreements, and individual contracts, as well as the process for termination of employees (when required). We also provide assistance on several commercial contracts to be implemented either locally and/or under global legal terms by NIKE worldwide, and support with local permits and licenses to operate retail stores (Nike Factory Stores).

Cuesta Campos has represented Road Runner Apparel in litigations to recover a trademark registered by Coppel, the sixth largest retailer in Latin America with over 1200 stores in Mexico.

Cuesta Campos gave legal support to Decathlon for the strategic opening of a key store in one of the most important cities in Mexico. Our firm designed and implemented the legal strategy in order for Decathlon to open the store in accordance on the target date, in careful compliance with applicable law requirements. Our firm’s advice included consulting for the fulfillment of civil protection and signaling requirements.
