For over 27 years, Ms. Marin has advised multinational corporations in corporate restructuring, strategic mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financial transactions, among other key transactions and business structures. She is especially active in the automotive, manufacturing, financial, pharmaceutical, real estate development and alcoholic beverages industries.
Professor of Competition Law and member of the Academy of Commercial and Business Law at the Law School of the Universidad Panamericana. Also, member of the Antitrust Committees of the IBA (International Bar Association) and ABA (American Bar Association).
She is currently President of the Board of Directors (2026-2027) of ANADE Jalisco.
Ms. Marín has been partner at Cuesta Campos for the last 22 years. Currently, she leads the M&A, Financial and Antitrust Compliance teams of the Firm, working on antitrust matters as part of a broader M&A practice, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, competition law and corporate governance.
She has counseled an array of clients in Mexico, US, Japan and Europe in cross-border transactions, corporate structures, strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial agreements, asset-based lending, among other multimillion-dollar transactions. Furthermore, Ms. Marin gives advice on due diligence and compliance issues including topics such as anticorruption, antitrust and competition law, privacy, money laundering and corporate governance.
Finally, Ms. Marin serves the board of directors of Laboratorios Sophia, leader in the ophthalmic products industry.
