Experience

Azucena Marín is a partner with more than 20 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial and real estate transactions, advising multinational companies on complex transactions in Mexico and internationally. Her practice is distinguished by a strategic, business-oriented approach, with a strong focus on foreign investment, competition law, and corporate governance, enabling clients to structure efficient operations while complying with highly specialized regulatory frameworks.
She has led strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate structuring, and secured financing transactions, as well as industrial, commercial, residential, and tourism-related real estate projects. Her experience includes trusts, condominium regimes, construction agreements, sale-leasebacks, built-to-suit structures, and wealth planning. She also advises on antitrust and competition compliance, serving industries such as automotive, electronics manufacturing, financial services, pharmaceuticals, real estate, and consumer goods.
Azucena holds a law degree and maintains an active presence in national and international forums. She serves on the Board of Directors and as Coordinator of the Competition Committee at ANADE Jalisco, and is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) and the International Bar Association (IBA). She is also a professor at Universidad Panamericana and a frequent speaker at leading institutions.
