05 Mar It was announced the agreement setting forth the process, requirements, and deadlines for the renewal of the Registry of Specialized Services Providers or Specialized Works (REPSE by its acronym in Spanish).
Individuals and corporations registered on the Public Register of Specialized Services Contractor or Specialized Works (REPSE by its acronym in Spanish) are required by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security (STPS by its acronym in Spanish) to renew their registration every 3 years, through the digital platform enabled for such purposes.
For the renewal of REPSE registration, it is required to access to the digital platform used before on the 1st registry, by using your electronic signature (e.Firma in Spanish) associated to the registry of the individual or corporation that provides the specialized services or specialized works; as well as to make the corresponding request and provide the information related to the service or specialized work to provide.
To perform the REPSE renewal through the digital platform, the specialized services providers or specialized works entities will have an established time frame to do so, that will depend on the date in which their registry had been authorized. This is according to the amendments to the general provisions set forth on the agreement published by the STPS.
Once the request is made within the period assigned to do so, the STPS shall confirm the renewal request, to subsequently issue the REPSE renewal. It is important to mention that if the renewal process hasn’t been performed within the prescribed time frame, it will be cancelled. Additionally, once the REPSE is renewed, the individual or corporation shall inform this situation to the beneficiaries of the services or specialized works.
The professionals at Cuesta Campos y Asociados can assist you with the management of the procedures related to the registration and renewal of corporations providing specialized services or perform specialized works.
