José Antonio Gallástegui is a senior associate at Cuesta Campos, where he is part of the Labor & Employment practice. He has focused his practice on advising domestic and multinational companies on compliance with labor obligations in Mexico, providing a practical and preventive approach that enables clients to manage their workforce with legal certainty and alignment with applicable regulations, including social security matters.
He has experience in comprehensive labor advisory, representation in labor matters, and support in employer compliance. He has advised companies across industries such as automotive, electronics, food and beverage, manufacturing, and construction. His experience includes drafting and reviewing employment agreements, implementing hiring strategies, and handling terminations, including those involving senior executives. He has also participated in corporate restructuring processes, including employer substitutions, outsourcing and insourcing schemes, and recruitment processes.
